Scientific focus areas and International relations

Cultural heritage objects. Analytical identification and chemical degradation. Painting and pigment analyses. Enzyme maceration. Synthesis of ligands for chemical cleaning of surfaces. FTIR, SEM/EDX, FORS, Raman.

Collaboration with the groups of senior conservation scientist PhD. Jana Sanyova, Royal Institute for Cultural Heritage, Belgium, Professor Takayoshi Suzuki, Department of Chemistry, Okayama University, Japan, and Professor Jesper Bendix, Department of Chemistry, KU.
